A visit to the Pumpkin Patch...

Yesterday, 10-25-08 we visited the Pumpkin patch. We revisit the same one each year called "Northern Lights". Located in Pleasant Hill. It's small but so awesome. They have home cooked meals out on the BBQ, horse back rides for the kids, hay rides, house made out of hay, gift shop, hot cocoa and lots of animals and different adventures.
So we made Saturday our special "family" day to just spend together and have a good time. The kids enjoyed themselves and got to pick out that special pumpkin out in the field of their own. Once we got out in the field by the hay ride, the guy giving us the grand tour stopped at what you call a Cat-a-pult. (I think I spelled that right) what they used back in the old days to shoot for war. I didn't get a picture of it, but the audience got a big show on how it was used back then. He used small pumpkins as small cannons that went flying thru the sky a couple hundred feet and came to a splattering hult. Pretty neat.

So here are a few pictures.
